First Cabin Kansai Airport is a capsule hotel which features cabin rooms split into a separate male and female section. The hotel is located in the Aeroplaza directly connected to Terminal 1 of Kansai Airport and JR/Nankai Kansai Airport Station. Terminal 2 is accessible by a free shuttle bus.

First Cabin Kansai Airport has 153 single-person cabin rooms. The cabins are divided into one male-only area with 94 cabins and one female-only area with 59 cabins. There are two cabin types, including the First Class Cabin (4.4 sq. m.) and Business Class Cabin (2.5 sq.m.).
Inspired by the style of first-class airplane cabins, the rooms are separated from the shared spaces by a roll or accordion curtain rather than a lockable door. A control panel allows guests to adjust the air conditioning and dim lights while watching the 32-inch TV. There is access to free ear plugs and luggage storage facilities at reception. Store any valuables in the lockable safety box.

Breakfast and Dining
There are no on-site dining facilities at First Cabin Kansai Airport. However, there are restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, including at the Aeroplaza.
Facilities and Services
Guests can take full advantage of First Cabin Kansai Airport’s leisure facilities. A large, relaxing public bath is available for men or women. It is closed for cleaning between 10:00 am and 12:30 pm.
In the same area, there is a separate shower room (men-only and female-only). Each shower room features private changing rooms with lockable doors. There is also a toilet/powder room.
A free communal lounge is equipped with Wi-Fi, a TV and power outlets. It provides a space to work or socialize.
From the morning of check-in, guests can make use of the luggage storage facility. A smoking booth and a coin-operated laundry room are also on stand-by. A vending machine provides snacks, while alcoholic drinks are available to order.
Free rental items are available at the reception. These include an iron, humidifier, mobile phone charger, a conversion plug and a trouser press. An additional bath set can also be rented for a small fee, consisting of a bath towel and face towel.
Location and Transportation
First Cabin Kansai Airport is directly connected to the JR/Nankai Kansai Airport Station on the third floor of Kansai International Airport’s Terminal 1. To reach the hotel from Terminal 1, guests can take the escalator to the back of the third floor. The grand piano at the front desk is an easy identification tool.
A free airport shuttle bus is available to and from Terminal 2 at Kansai International Airport.
First Cabin Kansai Airport is also very convenient for local transportation. From Kansai Airport Station, it’s a 34-minute ride to Tennoji Station on the JR Limited Express Haruka. It’s a 44-minute ride to Nankai Namba Station via the Nankai Airport Express. Shin-Osaka Station is also only 51 minutes away via the JR Haruka.
From Kansai Airport, shuttle buses reach Abeno Harukas in an hour and 15 minutes or Osaka Station in an hour.
