HATAGO INN Kansai Airport is a modern Osaka hotel situated within walking distance of Rinku Town Station, 5 minutes train ride from the airport. The hotel concept is inspired by the hatago lodgings of pre-modern Japan, which provided ‘more than just a place to sleep’.
Fitted with a 10,000-volume strong manga library and a sento-style bath spa, hotel guests benefit from having several places to unwind as well as being a seven-minute walk and one stop from Kansai International Airport. The hotel’s unique Bicycle Rooms can accommodate a bicycle.
Guest Rooms
HATAGO INN Kansai Airport has 100 guest rooms split into five different room types. These include the Single (13 sq.m.), Twin (20 sq.m.), Family Room (20 sq.m.), Universal (20 sq.m.) and Bicycle Room (13 sq.m.).
The rooms feature wooden panels and floors, a refrigerator and free Wi-Fi. They all have a unit bath featuring a toilet except for the Bicycle Room, which has a separate bathroom. Relax in front of the TV with a hot drink prepared using the kettle. Bicycle Room guests can also rent a bicycle kit from reception which includes a rear wheel stand, a bicycle pump, a tire repair kit and a tool set.

Breakfast and Dining
The hotel has one on-site dining venue where guests can help themselves to a Japanese and Western buffet or order filling meals from the menu.
HATAGO INN Kansai Airport restaurant provides a Japanese and Western breakfast buffet featuring dishes such as curry rice. The menu includes dishes from Kansai such as Kansai-fu udon, an udon noodle soup with ingredients such as kombu kelp, usukuchi soy sauce, deep-fried tofu and green onions.

Facilities and Services
HATAGO INN Kansai Airport has a library and lounge which houses over 10,000 manga books and magazines. Guests can find a chair in the lounge to read from or take a volume back to their room free of charge.
The hotel spa has two large sento-style baths (one for men and one for women). Decorated with a tile mural designed by Mizuki Tanaka, a Japanese bathhouse painter, they are accessible by key card. The opening times for the spa are as follows: 5:00 am – 10:00 am and 3:00 pm to 12:00 am. Guests are expected to bring towels from their room.
As well as offering facilities for relaxation, the hotel has facilities such as coin-operated laundry machines, a vending machine and an ice maker. Luggage can be stored at the reception.
As the hotel is non-smoking, there is a designated smoking area on the first floor.
Wi-Fi can be accessed throughout the building, as well as in the rooms.
Location and Transportation
HATAGO INN Kansai Airport is located a seven-minute walk from Exit 5 of Rinku Town Station in Osaka. This station is one stop away from Kansai International Airport, meaning that guests can take the Nankai/JR Kansai Airport Line to the airport with a journey time of six minutes.
The hotel is also easily accessible by car or taxi. Hanshin Highway No.4 Bayside Line Izumisano Minami IC is situated a one-minute drive away and the Hanwa Expressway and Kansai Airport Expressway Izumisano IC is a six-minute drive away.
Hotel guests can park directly at the hotel, where there is parking available for 86 cars.
